How You Can Help

Altoona’s Historic Mishler Theatre is the house you have preserved and loved for more than a century. Our cultural house is a house full of life. From entertaining and educational Family Theatre Productions to beautiful orchestral music, live theatrical experiences, dance recitals, weddings and important business meetings, our house is a full house!

As you visit the Mishler Theatre you will notice we’re in the midst of completing some much need home improvement projects, such as replacing the roof and repairing the bricks. We also hope to heat the stage and work toward cooling the house.

None of these exciting artistic adventures and none of the theatre’s important restorative efforts would be possible without your help. Your generous contribution to the BCAF’s annual operating campaign helps to reinforce the foundation of our cultural cornerstone.

We sincerely believe the Mishler Theatre is our community’s most valuable artistic asset and we thank you so much for your support. All you have done and all you continue to do to preserve this most magnificent place for future generations truly makes our house, your house.
